Commissioned Pop Art Portraits

Commissioned portraits give me the opportunity to work closely with my clients and create something that feels personal to them. It is an honor to be trusted with their stories, photographs, and ideas, especially when they give me carte blanche to interpret the subject and develop the portrait in my own style.

I begin with a carefully selected photograph, then simplify the composition through strong black linework and a limited palette of black, white, and red. Each portrait is painted by hand in gouache and created as a one-of-a-kind original, with personal details, clothing, flowers, and decorative patterns helping make every commission distinct.
